This past Wednesday, 23 July, the ADPP Vocational School Bissorã was the setting for a significant moment: the presentation of the ADPP Guinea-Bissau 2024 Progress Report — an event that showcased the achievements made throughout the year, the result of joint efforts to promote the economic, social, and cultural development of the Guinean people.
The Teacher Training College DNS-Bachil has begun yet another year of agricultural cultivation, bringing together teachers, students, and the school leadership in preparing the land — a moment that symbolises much more than just the start of farming: it represents a commitment to education rooted in practice and sustainability.
As part of the three-year training programme at the Teacher Training College DNS-Bachil , second-year students (Team 2024) took part in training sessions in various areas: natural soap production, drawing and painting, baking, traditional dance, and pottery making.
On the 17 October, marked the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty — a reminder that ending poverty is also a fight for #dignity,#justice and #respect for all families.
The Executive Director of ADPP Guinea-Bissau, Fernando Binhafa, met with members of the Planet Aid Board, of which he is a member, at the organisation’s headquarters in Elkridge, Maryland.
Rural women continue to face numerous challenges — from limited access to education and land, to restrictive social norms and the impacts of climate change.
ADPP Guinea-Bissau, within the framework of the APICA GNB project financed by the Green Climate Fund, invites suppliers to submit proposals for the supply of:
🔹 Lot 1: Soil and water quality monitoring kits
🔹 Lot 2: Data collection equipment (drones, cameras, GPS)
Proposals must include prices, delivery timelines, and warranty conditions (minimum 12 months).
On the 11 October 2025, we celebrated the strength, courage, and potential of every girl!
But this day is also a call to action: empowering girls transforms lives, families, and communities.
Many graduates from our DNS-Bachil Teacher Training School become part of our Graduates’ Network, continuing to share, support one another, and transform lives far beyond graduation.
